Great atmosphere with the band on stage and the hockey teams game in view. The chili and grilled zucchini dishes were awesome. It was our first visit for the Steelers game and a wonderful visit. Can’t wait to return. Go Steelers!!
The burgers are good, but let's be real...I'm here for the fries. Wow, these mixed fries are good. I don't know what this bbq spice mix is that they use for the sweet potatoes but it's not to be missed. The burgers are big, the cheese sticks are huge. You really can't beat the view on the ice, either. This is a must stop, even if you're from Pittsburgh and it's a bit of a track. Oh, and I'd be doing an injustice if I didn't mention how friendly the staff were. Thanks for a nice meal.
I decided on Bubba's Burghers - Southpointe for my birthday dinner tonight So glad I did! Our server Kevin was amazing! - if you know him, please tag him!!- He memorized our ENTIRE order! We really appreciated your kindness and your great service! Thank you so much! My favorite appetizer: Grilled Zucchini • My meal: Bacon Ranch burger without a bun, fries side of bacon ranch and mayo. I also got a side salad • My husbands meal: Kitchen Sink Nachos • Our sons meal: Kitchen Sink Nachos with everything on the side plus a few mozzarella sticks my mom got • 11 year old daughters meal: Mozzarella Sticks and bacon, ranch and cheesy fries • 5 year old daughters meal: Cheese pizza with fries • My moms order: Bacon ranch burger, side salad and shared mozzarella sticks with my son We also got to watch little kids practice hockey and watch most of a high school game— which kept us all entertained, even our 5 year old daughter
I cannot recommend this place enough. Friends of ours recommended it, and we all went out to eat. When you first walked to the door it smells delicious. It smelt like a kitchen of a grandma that has been cooking all day. Just wonderful smell of food. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful.She had a great personality. When we ordered she what's super sweet. Now let me start with the food and it was amazing.Wasn't expecting the size of the food. We ordered the pretzels and the Buffalo chicken dip as an appetizer thinking it was going to be like other restaurants and about that size. I was wrong.It was huge.We could have made a meal out of just one of the appetizers for all four of us at the table. They were absolutely delicious. Though I definitely would order them again. We got the smasher burgers as our entree, and it was also delicious. It was a little on the pricey side, but the food was well worth the price and I mean, it was well worth it. Definitely, you should give this place a try if you've never eaten there.
Stopped here on a whim while staying at a nearby hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy. And the food was excellent. When choosing this restaurant we had no idea that it was upstairs to an ice rink, which was a cool surprise. So while we ate we watched a hockey game take place.
A huge shout of to chefs Nate and Anthony!!!! Anthony also stepped in to be our server. Driving cross country from Colorado to New England and stopped here on a whim. Not only is the place super cool because you get to watch hockey games and practices. The food is spectacular. I never finished what I get, but I did Mantra breathing, and took breaks so I could eat it all. If nothing else make sure you get the sweet potato fries.
Server's were very nice and attentive. Food was something that made me want to try other things because it was so good. Mozzarella sticks were the best ones i ever had. The Bubba burger was a bit too rich for me because of the fried cheddar cheese, although I'm a big fan of cheese. Everything was very good. I'm definitely going back for more.
